In Good Conscious, is a newly launched personal care brand which launched three body washes.
The founder, Jerome Clark, wanted to create a values driven brand which not only formulated products to a high standard but also used a business model based on 'cultural sustainability'.
In terms of 'Cultural Sustainability' the company uses Black & minority owned and led companies throughout its value chain process, including community banks, third-party logistics, co-manufacturers and marketing agencies. Additionally, a portion of sales proceeds are donated to the Tulsa Dream Center, a non-profit that empowers citizens and the youth of North Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The first three products are three body washes with naturally derived ingredients - all-natural Mandarin Rose, Rosemary Bergamot, and Peppermint Sage fragrances.
I really like the mission of this company, and how they are really putting their money where they believe they can do the most good.
In terms of the products, there is really not much to talk about; however, to see a brand really supporting other minorities through its value chain is impressive.
