The menopause telehealth platform Evernow just raised a new round of funding, for growth. The raises has garnered attention due to the number of celebrity backers, including Abby Wambach, Gwyneth Paltrow, Carla Harris, Drew Barrymore, & Gwynne Shotwell amongst a number of other investors.
Evernow, founded in 2019 by Alicia Jackson, offers women a chance to connect with medical providers and receive estradiol & Paroxetine treatments. The site offers medically guided hormone therapy.
Evernow is certainly not alone with a number of other telehealth startups in the same space. How each differentiates, in terms of quality of care, access to care, and core communities will be critical.
Additionally some of the platforms listed below are broad women’s health plays, where they focus on more than menopause, understanding whether specificity is key will be interesting. Furthermore, there are opportunities beyond targeting the 40+ woman, where there are many silently (due to how unaddressed it is) going through menopause earlier than 40 for medical reasons. Although
